Split the legs
To make the legs, split the knitting by defining 3 stitches that form the space between the legs, 3 stitches at the back, and 18 stitches for each leg (it is convenient to use the stitch markers). Starting from the back, connect the last loop of the leg from the back to the front, knitting RLS (this RLS will become the first loop of the leg). Now connect the loops of the first leg in a circle. Continue knitting the first leg.
