Tools and materials:

  • Hook No. 2.5, scissors, wide-eye needle
  • Yarn: black and white Vita cotton “Rivera” 50 g / 93 m. You can choose a yarn according to your taste
  • Eyes and nose on a secure mount, or bead eyes. The nose can be embroidered with black thread
  • Holofiber for stuffing

Hand (2 parts)
Black thread.
1 R – 2 VP, 6 RLS = (6 P). [Cast on 2 air loops, in the second loop from the hook, knit 6 RLS]

3-6 R – 12 RLS = (12 P)
7 R – (RLS, UB) 4 times = (8 P)
Fill the cam a little with holofiber.
8-11 R – 8 RLS = (8 P)

Legs-torso-head

9 R – PR, 13 RLS, 2 PR, 13 RLS, PR = (32 P). We connect the legs into one piece of the body. We finish the last column of the row with a white thread and then knit with a white thread, cut off the black thread.
10 R – 15 RLS, 2 PR, 15 RLS = (34 P)
11 – 14 R – 34 RLS = (34 P).
15 R – in the first loop we knit the element “berry” – the panda’s tail, 33 RLS = (34 P)
16 – 17 R – 34 RLS = (34 P).
18 R – 11 RLS, 6 UB (the place of this group of decreases is the belly of the toy), 11 RLS = (28 P)
19 R – (2 RLS, UB) 7 times = (21 P)
20 R – (UB, 5 RLS) 3 times = (18 P) We finish the last column of the row with a black thread and then knit with a black thread, leave the white thread at work.
21 R – 18 RLS = (18 P). We knit 21-23 rows with black thread.

Then we knit 7 rows without changes, 1 RLS in each loop of the previous row.
29 R – we begin to knit panda glasses. 20 sc with white thread, 2 sc with black thread, 8 sc with white thread, 2 sc with black thread, 16 sc with white thread.
30 R – 20 sc with white thread, 4 sc with black thread, 4 sc with white thread, 4 sc with black thread, 16 sc with white thread.
31 R – 20 sc with white thread, 5 sc with black thread, 2 sc with white thread, 5 sc with black thread, 16 sc with white thread
32 R – 21 sc with white thread, 3 sc with black thread, 4 sc with white thread, 3 sc with black thread, 17 sc with white thread. Then knit with white thread, fasten the ends of the black thread with knots.
ATTENTION! If you have chosen the eyes on a safe fastening, then insert the eyes further before continuing knitting.
33-35 R – 48 RLS = (48 P)
36 R – (6 RLS, UB) 6 R = (42 P)

38 R – (4 RLS, UB) 6 P = (30 P)

We fill our head with holofiber.
40 R – (2 RLS, UB) 6 R = (18 P)
41 R – (RLS, UB) 6 P = (12 P)
42 P – 6 UB, SP = (6 P)
Cut the thread more genuinely, crochet the remaining 6 loops at the end of the cut thread and pull off the knitting, fasten the thread with a knot and hide the tip inside the toy with the hook.

Muzzle
White thread.
1 R – 6 RLS = (6 P)
2 R – 6 RR = (12 P)
3 R – (1 RLS, PR) 6 times = (18 P)
4 R – 18 RLS = (18 P)
Embroider a nose or insert a spout on a secure mount. Sew the muzzle to the head between the knitted black eye sockets.

Ears (2 pieces)
Black thread.
1 R: 6 RLS = (6 R)
2 R: 6 RR = (12 R)
3 R: (1 RLS, PR) 6 times = (18 R)
4 R: (2 RLS, PR) 6 times = (24 P)
5R: Fold the part in half, along the edge of the part, piercing both sides of the part, knit 12 RLS = (12 P)
Fold the part in a semicircle, sew to the head between the 3rd and 8th rows from the crown of the toy.
